Project Highlight

Voice of America exemplifies Bayer Becker’s multi-discipline design capabilities. The center includes Target as its main anchor and features 500,000 square feet of retail and 10 outlots.

Bayer Becker identified the critical path through the elaborate entitlement process and took the lead in coordinating the efforts of the entire project design team, including external consultants and service providers, to complete each submittal application. Our design professionals assisted the general contractor during the bidding process and performed construction administration duties such as construction observation, shop drawing review, promptly responding to requests for information, preparation of as-built drawings, and issuance of bulletins to reflect changes to the plan necessary to accommodate new tenants to the center.

Bayer Becker provided our full collection of design services from the initial land planning stage through construction. Bayer Becker provided a complete site development solution for the project preparing the overall concept plan for the development, designing site utilities, grading, storm water management systems, erosion and sediment controls, traffic controls, landscapes, and hardscapes.
