Indian Hill Veteran's Memorial

The challenge for the Indian Hill Veteran’s Memorial was creating a memorial that recognized the service members and kept with the overall quiet, residential character of the community of Indian Hill. The memorial is composed of three vertical granite slabs inscribed with an eagle, in flight, which embraces the emblems of the six military branches. The base is a hand carved acknowledgement, recognizing the service and sacrifice of our veterans. There is a small terrace comprised of granite pavers including the specific names of Indian Hill veterans.

In addition to the design of the memorial Bayer Becker also provided representation at the public meetings, ensuring that the residents’ needs and concerns were taken into account.
