The Central Quad renovations at Miami University consisted of updates to three residence halls. Richard, MacCracken and Porter received improvements to accessibility and safety features, additional community and study areas, as well as upgrades to the landscape.

A key component to the renovations was improving accessibility for all students. Richard and MacCracken halls added ramps, accessible student rooms, updated bathrooms and larger elevators.

All buildings received updates to the grounds, including new plantings, lawns, new sidewalks, site lighting, storm drainage and irrigation. As well as, added outdoor student gathering areas. Bayer Becker provided land surveying, civil engineering, and landscape architecture.
