Bayer Becker is currently under contract with the Clermont County Water Resources Department to prepare the design and contract documents to eliminate the Naegele Road lift station. The project includes extension of 111’ of 8” gravity sewer main, transfer of flow from the lift station to the new gravity sewer, demolition of the existing lift station, and abandonment of the existing force main. Bayer Becker engineers developed a specification section to address the unique aspects of the lift station demolition including instructions for removal of the electric service, salvage of equipment, disposal of sewage, and treatment of the existing concrete wet well and valve vault.
