Robert J. Barth Lake Park

Bayer Becker collaborated with the City of Cold Spring staff to design a new park bound by commercial development, multifamily residences, and single-family homes.  The central park feature is a 2.5 acre detention basin that showed signs of deterioration.  The goal was to stabilize the existing banks while providing a community asset to support the surrounding neighborhood.  The master plan included bank stabilization strategies, a phased planting plan, a walking trail with benches, a pedestrian bridge, a gazebo, and viewing areas.  Bayer Becker provided the design and construction documents for the park.
