Sinclair Community College Health & Science Center

Bayer Becker provided surveying and civil engineering services for the new Health Sciences Center on Sinclair Community College’s downtown Dayton campus. This $31.5M project consolidates health programs from ten different buildings on campus into one central space, which promotes collaboration across disciplines and allows Sinclair to better meet the emerging needs of students in the healthcare industry.

The campus’ urban environment posed several obstacles to the design of the site. Bayer Becker’s design team met the challenge of re-routing several public utilities through the site, while ensuring proposed vehicular and pedestrian access improvements blended seamlessly with existing conditions.
