my story

Alex joined the Bayer Becker team in 2018, bringing valuable experience with master planning, conceptual design, site planning, and navigating projects with varying complexity of scale and jurisdiction. He leads the Planning department and is involved with projects from conception, providing comprehensive research and site analysis while skillfully guiding clients through the design process. Alex's hard work and dedication also earned him a spot on the associate's team in 2022. 

His goal is to provide a diligent, creative, and competent work performance in pursuit of his client's vision. Alex believes in a comprehensive approach to deliver results whether working on small-scale site design, navigating the intricacies of a mixed-use development, or tackling a large-scale master planning effort.

Every great design starts with a collective vision. Alex is passionate about bringing this vision to life by collaborating within a team, and balancing creativity and pragmatism to generate solutions. Alex became a planner simply to create great places and firmly believes this can be achieved by thinking holistically, emphasizing placemaking, and designing for people.

Alex grew up in Cincinnati and always envisioned raising a family here. When he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, being outdoors, listening to music, and growing, cooking and eating food.
