Project Highlight
Revitalizing the business district of Madisonville, the Madamore mixed-use development include a total of 316 apartments, over 60,000 square feet of new commercial space, and a revitalized shoppping district. After several years of dreaming, drafting, and community engagement; the Madisonville Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation teamed with Ackermann Group to bring a transformative mixed-use project the spans three corners at the intersection of Madison Road and Whetsel Avenue. In total, three new five-story buildings will be constructed across three phases of development; that will provide 316 residential units and 67,000 SF of commercial space. Phases one and two are complete, and phase three is currently under construction.
Bayer Becker’s transportation group prepared traffic impact studies; the survey group provided topographic surveys, record plats, and ALTA surveys; the civil group prepared detailed design for site infrastructure and streetscape improvements; and the landscape architecture team created public plazas for community engagement and vibrant amenity areas for resident life. In addition, Bayer Becker assisted the development team with a rigorous zoning process, which included one of the earliest projects dealing with Cincinnati’s Form-Based Code.
