Project Highlight
Bayer Becker was selected to assist the Hamilton County Engineer's Office in updating one of their key roadway corridors. Once completed, the Kenwood Road corridor between Interstate 71 and Montgomery Road will be primed to attract new businesses with improved sidewalks, access management and roadway visibility. The project includes the relocation of all existing overhead utilities to an underground installation as well as the addition of lighting and signalization, including new mastarms for the traffic signals. The corridor already includes several utilities that need to be avoided. In addition to the utilities that need to be avoided, coordination was necessary with other existing utilities including gas, water, sanitary, storm sewer, telephone, fiber optics, cable, and two different electric feeds. The plans developed by Bayer Becker were incorporated into the overall corridor modification plans for Kenwood Road which include lane and sidewalk modifications.
