Project Highlight
Located in the heart of the historic East Walnut Hills neighborhood, this $55 million mixed-use project will consist of two buildings across 6.2 acres. The Woodburn Exchange will offer 322 apartments, 15,000 square feet retail, structured parking, a linear park that runs between the two complexes, as well as garden amenity and first-class pool for its residents.
The redevelopment of the former Anthem site is expected to bring more than 450 new residents to the community. The street-level space is expected to host
restaurants and bolster the nearby business districts.
Bayer Becker helped the design team work through several iterations of the site and building program to finalize a plan that the community overwhelmingly accepted. The site was re-zoned from an “Office Limited” designation to a Planned Development (PD). Topographic challenges were turned into amenity areas with planter walls and landscaping. Site utilities were carefully coordinated to provide the highest level of efficiency and aesthetic.
