Bayer Becker is proud to announce the addition of Alex Betsch, AICP, to our associate leadership team. Alex Betsch joins the current team of six associates; Katie Dillenburger, John Cody, Janet Heil, Bryan Scheck, John Bayer, and Nick Hamberg. President Jay Bayer made the announcement, adding that Alex “brings a wealth of knowledge, a creative insight, and a collaborative leadership style” to the associate leadership. “Alex has elevated the design offering for our firm from the moment he walked in the door,” says principal, Mike Dooley.
Alex Betsch, AICP graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning. He then joined Bayer Becker in 2018, bringing valuable experience with master planning, conceptual design, site planning, and navigating projects with varying complexity of scale and jurisdiction. Graduating as part of the AICP Class of 2020, he leads the Planning department and is involved with projects from conception, providing comprehensive research and site analysis while skillfully guiding clients through the design process. Alex is also an active member of the design community, he is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Planning Association, Urban Land Institute of Cincinnati, and Congress for the New Urbanism.
