Project Highlight
Coordinating construction to minimize resident’s inconveniences was a key factor in the improvements to Marquette Avenue and Sunnymede Drive. The project involved roadway reconstruction of Marquette Avenue and a portion of Sunnymede Drive. Design included widening the existing roadway as well as adding curb and gutter. In addition to the roadway improvements on Marquette and Sunnymede, Bayer Becker provided designs for storm water improvements as well as a new watermain. In addition to design, Bayer Becker held a public meeting with residents to explain the project as well as to listen to any concerns they may have. Construction on the project was coordinated to maintain scheduled bus traffic and trash removal as well as allow residents access to their homes.
