Project Highlight
Phase One of the Liberty Center mixed use development consists of 64 acres located at I-75, SR 129, and Liberty Way in Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio. Phase One is to consist of approximately 1.2 million square feet of retail, restaurant, office, and residential space.
Bayer Becker is currently finalizing construction drawings for the IMS recommended roadway improvements which include turn lanes, signalization, and signalization modifications at various intersections along Liberty Way, including new intersections providing access to the Liberty Center development, at the Tylers Place Boulevard intersection, and at the I-75/SR 129 northbound and southbound exit ramps. The construction drawings for the improvements along Liberty Way at Tylers Place Boulevard and at the Liberty Center site involve roadway and intersection design, hydraulics and drainage analysis, utility design and utility relocation, traffic control plans, and signalization design. The interchange modification plans for Liberty Way and the I-75/SR 129 northbound and southbound exit ramps have the same components, however, they also require a Red Flag Summary, environmental investigations, a geotechnical exploration, maintenance of traffic plans, superelevation computations, storm culvert extension design, and retaining wall design. Bayer Becker has worked and continues to work closely with the Butler County Engineer’s Office and the Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 8 Office on this project.
