Project Highlight
Bayer Becker designed a 3,000 linear foot extension of a 16” water main from Butler County’s 1082 pressure system to serve the proposed Liberty Center development project. The Liberty Center was located within the 1,000 water pressure system which was inadequate to provide domestic water service to the proposed multi-story buildings without the aid of booster pumps installed at each building location. This project required an expedited timeline to accommodate the scheduled opening date of the Liberty Center. The Bayer Becker team exceeded the client’s expectations by completing the water main design and securing permits in less than a two-month period. In addition, the construction contract was awarded at approximately 80% of the engineer’s estimate.
