Ryan Laber Featured in ASCE Magazine

Our very own Ryan Laber was featured in the American Society of Civil Engineers’ (ASCE) May 2017 magazine for partaking in ASCE’s annual Legislative Fly-in. Ryan is an Engineer in Training in the OTR Office. He and other civil engineers from across the country traveled to Washington DC and met with members of Congress and their staff to both share ASCE’s latest Infrastructure Report Card and advocate for increased investment in America’s infrastructure. Bayer Becker Works With Local 5th Grade Team for National Competition

Bayer Becker recently took some time to coach and educate a team of local 5th graders about the impacts of various landscape architecture strategies unique to roadways.  The team, calling themselves the “Brick Girls,” reached out to the Landscape Architecture and Planning group in Over-The-Rhine to gather research for the engineering innovation-based challenge, the FIRST® LEGO® League Competition.

    Over-the-Rhine's $25 million mixed-use development have released its name and groundbreaking date. The development's name is Freeport Row and will include apartments, retail space, and a parking garage. This new development will be located on the corner of Liberty and Elm. Developers ‘Totally Surprised’ by Demand for Agri-community Homes

Maureen McDermott worked on a 139-home community called Aberlin Springs and was surprised by the strong response of the buyers. Located in Union Township, this development already has 60 people paying to secure a spot in the community. The houses are still in the development stage but they are seeing great feedback from the community.
